Plain Sight House
Terms of sale
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy a book on plainsighthouse.com. Please read them before you order. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing here takes away the rights that consumer law in your country gives you.
1. Who we are
Plain Sight House is the trading name of YADREUSKAYA TABACU YULIYA PFA, a sole trader (persoană fizică autorizată) registered in Romania, CUI 46113539, Trade Register no. F40/1985/2022, address Bd. Bucureștii Noi nr. 136, parter, ap. 5, Sector 1, 012366 București, Romania. Email hello@plainsighthouse.com.
2. What we sell
We sell printed hardcover books. Each product page describes the book: text and translation, size, page count, binding and paper. The photos marked "visualisation" show how the book is designed, not a photograph of a finished copy. Color on screen may differ slightly from print.
The texts we print are in the public domain: Genesis in the World English Bible, and the Book of Enoch in the translation by R. H. Charles (1917). The design, typesetting and layout of our editions belong to Plain Sight House.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), euros (EUR) or pounds sterling (GBP), depending on where you are, and include shipping. Checkout shows the final amount before you pay. Prices include any VAT we are required to charge.
4. Your order
When you pay, you make an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send the order confirmation by email. Stripe sends a payment receipt right away; our confirmation follows by email.
We may refuse or cancel an order if the price on the page was clearly wrong, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if the payment looks fraudulent. If we cancel, we refund the full amount.
5. Payment
Payment is taken by card or another method shown at checkout, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your card is charged when you order, including for pre-orders.
6. Printing and delivery
Each book is printed for you by our print partners, Lulu in the United States and BookVault in the United Kingdom, and shipped with tracking. Delivery times, costs and countries are in our Shipping policy. Ownership and risk pass to you when the book is delivered.
7. Cancellation, returns and faults
See our Returns and refunds page. In short: faulty or damaged books are replaced free everywhere; customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have 14 days to cancel after delivery; elsewhere we cannot accept returns for a change of mind because each copy is printed to order.
8. Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Things outside our control
If a printer, carrier or other event outside our control delays your order, we tell you as soon as we know and you can cancel for a full refund if the book has not shipped yet.
10. Personal data
How we use your details is described in our Privacy policy.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please write to us first at hello@plainsighthouse.com: most problems are solved in a day or two.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on the site when you ordered.
